Ces jumeaux se ressemblent beaucoup.
These twins look very similar.
to look alike; to have a similar appearance
Les deux tableaux se ressemblent.
The two paintings resemble each other.
Used for people, objects, or any entities that share visual traits.
Use *se ressembler* when two subjects resemble each other; use *ressembler à* when one subject resembles another.
From the reflexive pronoun se + the verb ressembler (from Old French *ressembler*, ultimately from Latin *simillāre* ‘to make similar’).
The verb is always used reflexively; do not say *je ressemble* when meaning ‘to look like someone else’, use *je ressemble à*.
